About Me

I’m a chef, but I also like to think from first principles. I think understanding the science behind cooking makes the cooking itself a lot easier, but it’s surprisingly hard to find a lot of information on this subject without trawling through massive and complicated cookbooks. So that’s ultimately the goal of this blog; give people better access to the technical and scientific side of food.

I aim to post once a week, every Monday, and the newsletter goes out on Tuesday. I want this to grow into a real community of food lovers, chefs and non-chefs alike, so your participation is incredibly valuable.
